WE MOVED!

Well. Somewhat. As of posting this, the new blog is still under construction. We have to update a lot of the posts. But other than that. New posts will be uploaded there. We will be updating the Bloglovin followers so no need to worry about that, but for email subscribers, I think you'd have to do that yourself. So sorry for the inconvenience. We hope to see you on the new site! Just click on the banner below. :D

Wrapping Up: Anna and the French Kiss Week

So... I don't know if anyone noticed, but we only featured one book this week. And we will probably be doing this for the rest of our blogging career here. :P

Anna and the French Kiss (Anna and the French Kiss #1)
by Stephanie Perkins
Published December 2, 2010
by Dutton
Anna is looking forward to her senior year in Atlanta, where she has a great job, a loyal best friend, and a crush on the verge of becoming more. Which is why she is less than thrilled about being shipped off to boarding school in Paris--until she meets Étienne St. Clair. Smart, charming, beautiful, Étienne has it all...including a serious girlfriend.

But in the City of Light, wishes have a way of coming true. Will a year of romantic near-misses end with their long-awaited French kiss?

"Still funny and charming the millionth time around. I can't count how many times I've read this book over the two years I've owned it."
"I have not yet read anything else by Stephanie Perkins, but after reading this book I am convinced to read the rest of these books as well, because they are so cute and adorable. And I'm sure that all the books in this 'series' will also be amazing."

"Anna and the French Kiss is definitely a book that fans of contemporary romance should check out. But even if this genre isn’t normally your thing, I would highly recommend giving this a try anyway if you’re ever looking for a sweet, lighter story. The characters are great, the writing is engaging and often funny… It’s just a good book, which I think would appeal to many readers."
-- Nikki @ There Were Books Involved...

"If Anna and the French Kiss doesn’t make you laugh, swoon, cry and sigh in longing, you’re doing it wrong. I love everything about it. It is charming and fun and just plain GOOD."
-- Angie @ Disquietus Reads

"Perkins really does the romance well. It was quite realistic, and I enjoyed the fact that there was no 'instalove.'"

Book Boyfriend: Étienne St. Clair

Book Boyfriends is a feature here in Fluffy Reads where we share our beloved guys in books.

For today's post, I will be talking about my first ever book boyfriend - Étienne St. Clair from Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins. He is the first British boy I ever fell in love with, and because of him, I've always been on the lookout for more charming British boys. Sadly, there are few in the YA world. Or maybe  haven't read them yet.

Do you know that feeling when you love something or someone so much that you're not even sure you have enough words or thoughts to talk about it? Well, that's kinda like me right now. But I will try my best to make this coherent. I will probably just fill this with lots of quotes. What better way than to show you, right? Don't worry. I won't spoil you. So. Let's get it on, shall we?

Meet Étienne St. Clair, although some of you may have already met him.

Chat It Up: To Paris, but not really the Eiffel Tower

I find it amusing that the book covers of Anna and the French Kiss, both old and new, feature the Eiffel Tower when Anna only mentioned the place in passing. I guess it's what people instantly think about when they think Paris. I'm sure many people dream of seeing the Eiffel Tower, or actually go there when they visit Paris. (I heard it's really expensive though) But a lot of Anna and the French Kiss actually revolved around a different place. A place that is also quite famous, I assume. (If you read the book, then you already know.)

So let us try to see the places in Paris. I haven't actually went there so I had to enlist the help of my good friend, Google. (All images link to their respective sources) This is not arranged chronologically according to the book, but rather based on the likeliness I would want to see these places, which is basically my own personal bias. :P

Top Three Tuesdays: When you love a book... (Anna and the French Kiss version)

Fluffy Reader Francine reporting for duty~ These are random things I thought about. So, when you love a book...

Simply Sunday (#3)

Simply Sunday is a reading meme at Books for a Delicate Eternity. It’s where you can share your favourite quote of the week; be it from a book, a novella, a short story, a poem, a song – whatever you like!

It's no longer Sunday, but I was busy then so better late than never. :P

Why Fluffy Reader Francine chose this:
I just REALLY love it, okay? I had so much feels for this part in the book. All Anna needed to do was ask and Etienne obliged. I know they have more words in their emails. But just this one simple thing did it for me - to have a guy so willing to just be there for you in anyway and to match with your little craziness. It's just really nice and wonderful. I love this so much.

What do you think? Link us to your Simply Sunday post, we'd love to read it!
